Two sisters, one dream

House of JN isn't a big brand with a marketing department. It's two sisters from Mangaluru who decided to bet on themselves.

Jayanthi and Nalinakshi grew up in the same home, shared the same love for beautiful, well-made things, and spent years watching other people build businesses while wondering if they could ever do it themselves. Like a lot of women, they had the eye, the discipline, and the work ethic - what they didn't have, for a long time, was someone willing to take the first step with them.

That changed when the two of them decided to stop waiting for the "right time" and just start. No investors, no warehouse, no big launch - just a shared phone, a handful of carefully chosen bags, and a belief that women in Mangaluru deserved a place to shop that felt personal. Jayanthi handles the orders and the everyday hustle of running things; Nalinakshi has the sharper eye for picking styles that actually sell. Between the two of them, House of JN was born - quite literally - out of their own initials.

What started as a side project between sisters has grown into a small but genuine home-run business. Every bag is handpicked by the two of them, every order is confirmed personally over WhatsApp, and every customer in Mangaluru gets the option to walk in, see the bags in person, and pick theirs up - no middlemen, no corporate distance, just two women who answer their own messages.

For Jayanthi and Nalinakshi, House of JN is bigger than handbags. It's proof that women don't need permission to build something of their own - they just need each other, and the will to start.
